This feature sheds light on the work students and teachers are doing, and it lets the community know what makes each class special.

Here’s more about this week’s featured classroom:

Name: Bryan Celano

Grade: Eighth

School: St. Mary’s

What makes your classroom special? Our students and everyone who is involved here at Saint Mary's, both in the school and church, help make this a great learning environment for these kids.

In addition to the curriculum, what are some things you teach your students? In addition to our curriculum, all of the students at our school are learning about how to live out our Virtues, and to better follow Jesus daily. We have a new Virtue weekly that we work in as a school.

What special project is your classroom working on now? The eighth-graders are currently working on their Confirmation service projects. They will be going through the Sacrament of Confirmation this spring to further their commitment to following and serving Jesus in their Catholic faith.

How do you hope what your students are learning now will affect their future? I hope that these students take not only what they learned in our curriculum, but also the Virtues, morals, experiences, and friendships when they graduate from Saint Mary's to have a positive influence into their high schools.
