Emergency crews responded at about 7 p.m. It was raining at the time.
Police said a 22-year-old Grand Haven woman driving a black Honda was traveling east on M-104 and attempted to turn north onto 130th Avenue.
She failed to see a white Ford sedan that was westbound on the highway and T-boned it, according to Sgt. Christie Wendt of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office. The impact caused the Ford to slide across the yard on the northwest side of the highway, stopping just short of the house there.
The driver of the Ford, a 69-year-old Grand Rapids woman, was not injured. One of her three passengers, a 14-year-old boy, suffered minor injuries, Wendt said. The driver of the Honda was not injured.
Traffic on westbound M-104 was detoured north on 130th Avenue to State Road until crews cleared the scene at about 7:45 p.m. Eastbound traffic was allowed to continue through the intersection.
