Don was the son of Gerrit and Mary Bronsink, who preceded him in death along with his 11 siblings.
He was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist churches in Grand Haven and Holland. He worked in construction and remodeling prior to retirement. He was a veteran of the Army, serving active duty and in the reserves from 1955-63.
Don is survived by his wife of 20 years, Deanna Fritz; children and grandchildren: Kelly and Andy Zalsman (McKenzie, Sydney) of Nunica, Wendy Wineland (Serena, Brenna) of Berrien Springs, Paula and Kevin Kloote (Tucker, Colton, Bryar) of Coopersville; three great-grandchildren; and several step-children and grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Don will be remembered as a loving husband, father and Papa. And will be missed deeply.
A memorial service will be at 12 noon Sunday, November 4, 2018, at Holland Seventh-day Adventist Church, 11279 Ottogan St., Holland, with Pastor Sean Reed officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11:45 a.m. prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association or Village Adventist School Worthy Student Fund, 409 West Mars Ave., Berrien Springs, MI 49103.
