It will take place in the college’s Sturrus Technology Center, 388 W. Clay, Muskegon. The event is free and open to the public, and will be moderated by MCC President Dale K. Nesbary, who will ask each legislator to share his vision and top priorities.
The event was originally scheduled for late January, but it had to be postponed due to hazardous weather conditions at the time.
State Rep. Terry Sabo is serving his second term representing Michigan’s 92nd House District, which includes the cities of Muskegon, Muskegon Heights and North Muskegon; and the townships of Muskegon, Laketon, Fruitland and Whitehall.
State Rep. Greg VanWoerkom was elected last fall to represent the 91st District, which includes the cities of Montague, Norton Shores, Roosevelt Park and Whitehall; and the townships of Blue Lake, Casnovia, Cedar Creek, Dalton, Egleston, Fruitport, Holton, Montague, Moorland, Ravenna, Sullivan and White River. He was the district director for U.S. Rep. Bill Huizenga, R-Zeeland, and previously served as the senior policy advisor to former Congressman Pete Hoekstra.
