Spring Lake High School Principal Michael Gilchrist announced that the following students have been designated as Senior Scholars in the Class of 2019.
Spring Lake High School students celebrated "A Night Under the Stars," as they wrapped up the 2019 school year with a prom held Saturday, May 11, 2019, at the Trillium Event Center.
The Spring Lake High School show, “Untitled,” will be open from 3-7:30 p.m. May 8-9.
Director Shaylynn Chalupa said “Mamma Mia!” has a message of what it means to be a family. The production also lends itself to a large cast, which Chalupa said is an important factor for her.

The students replaced hurtful words with positive ones on their classmates’ pictures in the school’s hallway on Thursday afternoon.
For the second year in a row, the Spring Lake High School marching band finished in first place in all invitationals they participated in, according to SLHS band directors Mark Grevengoed and Mike Truszkowski.
“Poe’s Midnight Dreary” will be performed at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Nov. 1-2, and 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at Spring Lake High School, 16140 148th Ave. in Spring Lake Township.
“Bad Seed” performances are at 7 tonight and 2 p.m. Saturday at the high school, 16140 148th Ave.
